What a whirlwind these last few month's have been. Looking back to the beginning of the year, so many people were feeling a shift in their life, little did we know what was in store! A drastic revision to life, has touched every single person. The ability to embrace what we are faced with, can be difficult, nevertheless, ENTIRELY doable. It's all in our mindset, how we chose to see things.
When the world called upon us to stop in our tracks, it was a culture shock for most, as so many of us are go, Go, GO! Actually it was a blessing.
Now, we can be aware of the scents of the season, gratefully hear the details of the train roll by, be invested in your current conversation or simply, live in the moment. Just think about how magnificent the world really is. How much it has endured from mankind and is Still trying to give us another chance; hitting the reset button so it can heal and we can take a step back. In that time, a myriad of people realized the importance of self-care and how it is more than a luxury; it is a preventative medicine, a means of staying in balance. For example, when one knee is hurting, we compensate by having less pressure on it, in turn, the other knee takes on more pressure leading to an imbalance. Self-care is recognizing and realigning that imbalance. Going back to the March blog, of "fill your cup" so you can fill others. If your cup is empty, how can you give anything?
